Charlotte Viens

I began my higher education at the Faculty of Medicine in Besançon, France, and then continued with four years of training at a midwifery school. These studies and clinical placements were a deeply enriching and meaningful human experience; however, hospital work was not the right fit for me. I therefore decided to take a chance and move to Quebec, settling in Montreal in 2018.

Upon my arrival, I began working in the early childhood field. Working with children brought me a great deal, but after several years, my desire to help and care for a broader range of people strengthened my need for change. Meaningful encounters—particularly with Jean-François Aumais (chiropractor at La Boîte Thérapeutique)—provided me with genuine support and inspired me to return to school to study massage therapy.

Today, I am a certified massage therapist and a graduate of the Academy of Scientific Massage. Massage therapy plays an important therapeutic role, both physically and psychologically. This profession encompasses several aspects that are dear to my heart: being present and attentive to others, as well as contributing to the balance of the human body and overall well-being through massage techniques.
